Bring Baby Jesus back to Ilford after beheading in 2018/Justice soon for 6 year old rape victim
Published: Thu, 12/16/21
Seasons greetings to you all.
We hope you are all progressing well with your Christmas preparations despite the difficulties of a harsh economy, a lorry shortage and the every present threat of COVID-19. December, is such a wonderful time of year when people are on holiday and Jesus becomes somewhat the focus of local celebrations across the UK. Though with elves and Santa dominating the high street for some years we have been working to restore the true meaning of Christmas in our local area.
11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you. He is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 Here is how you will know I am telling you the truth. You will find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth and lying in a manger.” Luke 2:11-12
Since 2015, British Asian Christian Association, has been involved in restoring a Nativity to Ilford town centre. Sadly in 2018, our town centre figurines were smashed and Jesus was beheaded. Read Daily Express article (here). I vowed to restore our Nativity project which ended a previous 16 year absence of a nativity at Ilford Town Hall, but was
refused permission to install within the safety of our Town Hall again in 2019 and could not bring a project together for 2020 due to COVID-19. I was able to bring a Nativity to my new home town of Chigwell the same year with a light display at All Saints Church that even encouraged our local councillors to put up lamp post Christmas lights for the first year ever. This year High Road Baptist Church, Ilford has agreed to allow a Nativity to the front of their church having seen the success at All Saints Church. Though they fear vandalism could happen they felt that it is time we restored a nativity in the town centre. Their forecourt is a reasonably safe area but time is of the essence. If we are to get this up in time I only have days to raise the funds and you can support the project if so moved by donating via our crowdfund (click here). Once purchased the silhouette figures will become part of an ever increasing Nativity display at the church annually. We hope the installation will ensure future generations of Redbridge children, of all faiths, will learn about the wonder of Christ's birth through our effort - a starting point towards salvation.

We write to you very soon after our previous email as this Christmas we need your help. Sadly over the last two months we have noticed a sizeable dip in our donations only raising £2500 from our last newsletter appeals. We believe this to be COVID-19 related especially considering the fragile global economy, since the national lockdowns and the cost of peoples christmas celebrations. The lack of donations will make our workload hard to maintain and some projects are on hold.
With hope that some of you will be minded to help we remind you of our current appeals from the last new story and share new ones. We start with our latest updates:
A Christian father whose son was murdered by seven men for bathing in the same well as Muslims, has suffered regular postponements of the murder trial because one of the younger murderers is missing. 56 year old Ghafoor Masih has now been accused of kidnapping Jabar in an attempt to thwart justice by the murderers. Read more (click here).
Since the rape of a 6 year old Christian girl by 18 year old Muhammed Waqas in September 2019, British Asian Christian Association, has been challenging for justice through advocate Sumaira Hussain. At the last hearing the furious Judge Iftikhar Ahmad, berated the defence counsel's representative for a 6th non-appearance. He ordered that a public prosecutor be appointed if the defence counsel fails to attend or prepare a case at the next hearing. We could soon see justice
meted out. Read more (here)
You can donate to any appeals above through the donation links within the story or simply click (here)
We will be writing 3 short newsletters this week and ask all of you open at least one. Our new mailing system will automatically unsubscribe any emails for those who open none of our newsletters from the next three allowing us to cull non-active members and reducing our distribution costs. We will then revert back to the monthly newsletter so please bear with us through this more frequent period.
I wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year
Blessings

I now list our latest three articles for your perusal and all the articles from the previous newsletter in date order. We hope more of you will support our work financially but if it is not possible please do remember our group in your prayers. Please feel free to read only the articles that pique your interest. Should any of the links above not be working you can find our UK community articles (here)
and international articles (here).
Elderly Christian arrested for kidnapping Murderer of his son in despicable attempt to thwart justice
The father of a Christian man killed by Muslims for defiling the purity of water from a tube well they owned, has now been accused of kidnapping the son of one of the murderers named Haji Muhammad Razaq.
It is believed that the alleged kidnap is an attempt to thwart the current murder proceedings which MR Razaq is currently involved in.
Mr Masih now faces the ignominy of a trial for kidnap which he is completely innocent of, despite absolutely no evidence that he has been involved in a crime.

The defence council for the rapist of a 6 year old Christian child in Lahore, Pakistan failed to attend a court hearing on 2nd December 2021, for the sixth time.
During the hearing Judge Iftikhar Ahmed expressed great disappointment in the repeated failure for a defence council representative to attend court or to have a defence. He also confirmed that failure to attend and introduce a defence before the winter holidays will result in the appointment of a public prosecutor.
The next hearing has been scheduled for 16th December 2021 and should the defence council fail to attend a public prosecutor will be appointed to cross examine the defendant in the case.
In 2017, an article in the Ilford Recorder calling for the return of a Christmas Nativity to Ilford, spurred teenager Hannah Chowdhry into action. The article illustrated that people of other faiths wanted a similar introduction of a nativity. It was evident that local people were still inspired by the Christian account of Jesus’ birth, which is imbued in English culture and tradition around the month of December (not actual date but when Christians choose to remember
Christ’s birth). Read more (here)

The article was in response to a petition of sorts for a nativity in the town centre from Rev Lesley Hilton of Gants Hill, United Reform Church. Her appeal resulted in a campaign by Hannah for reintroduction of a Nativity to Ilford Town Centre (click here).

As we get closer to December 25th the date on which Christians choose to celebrate the birth of Christ, we have been fortunate to have secured a few more partnerships that are improving our work with the homeless.
A mob of infuriated Muslims lynched a Sri Lankan man named Priyantha Kumara, who was working at a factory in Sialkot.
Violent Muslim mob revel in the action of burning body of alleged blasphemer
Priyantha Kumara was working as a General Manager in Rajko Industries where sportswear and goods are manufactured and had been working there for over 7 years.
From the sound of his name Mr Kumara would seem to be a Hindu and like the existing Christian and Hindu Minority in Pakistan, he would have been suffering a lot of discrimination and constant suspicion.
On Friday 3rd December, a large number of co-workers at Rajko dragged Priyantha out of his office incensed by allegations that he had desecrated a wall poster that had the holy name of Muhammed written on it. They say he had then thrown the poster in a waste bin.
We wrote about our concerns for the church after Police investigators became stumped by the motives of the Liverpool terrorist who unintentionally blew himself up in a taxi on Remembrance day (click here for recap). It is postulated that the terrorist was targeting the Remembrance Day service at Liverpool Cathedral. It is also believed that an accidental trigger or overstepping a timer due to traffic delay, caused the detonation in the taxi. Police have since confirmed that the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was packed with ball bearings and was definitely created to maim, injure or kill civilians. So this was not a personal suicide mission.Police at the time stated they were keeping an ‘open mind’ in their investigations as the perpetrator was a Christian convert.Further news since then, suggests that the terrorist was in fact a follower of the Islamic faith at the time of the detonation.
In The Times on 20th November it read that police investigators are now aware that in the preceding months to his attack, Islamist terrorist, Emad Al Swealmeen had reverted to practising Islam. This news is based on evidence shared with police from associates of Mr Swealmeen Read more on this (click here).
Several theories are being postulated about why Mr Al Swealmeen undertook the attack, one being that he may have been atoning for an initial falling away from Islam to Christianity, whereas other experts believe that his conversion to Christianity may have simply been a façade.
The refugee and asylum seekers in Thailand were just beginning to recover from the latest COVID-19 lockdown in Bangkok, when the threat of the new Omicron variant emerged.
At the moment around 7000 cases of COVID-19 infections every day, which is worrying for the asylum seeker community. The Royal Thai Government (RTG) relaxed their processes to allow asylum seekers to be vaccinated under pressure from humanitarian groups and international bodies including BACA.
Zafar Bhatti (56 yrs) has spent almost ten years of his life in Prison and has now become the longest serving blasphemy convict in Pakistan.
Several Christian charities have failed in freeing him from prison and Zafar Bhatti has now turned to British Asian Christian Association for help.
Tomorrow (2nd December 2021) our appointed solicitor will begin a bail application for release of Zafar Bhatti who is a diabetic patients and has declining health. His elderly wife Nawab Bibi (72 yrs) has been supported by BACA for 3 years and is praying for his release so they may unite for a short time while her health hold out.
A 35 year old Christian labourer known to be a hard worker was killed by two Muslim neighbours who burst his intestines by inserting high pressure air into his anus (click here). Two other men were initially implicated in the murder but
cases against them were dismissed, following police and court review of CCTV recordings.
It is believed that before he died Shehzad Masih was sodomized by the two Muslim men.
The brutal use of high pressure air in such sickening fashion is believed to be have been an attempt to hide a sexual offence the men committed.
British Asian Christian Association, has funded a legal prosecution of the murderers since the incident in July 2021. On 15th November 2021 following the rejection of a post-arrest bail for one of the murderers our solicitor believes we are nearing a successful conviction.
The mother of a murdered 10 year old who we supported for two years died of grief from being coerced into a compromise agreement for her murdered son.
Badil Masih (RIP) minutes after his death
Badil Masih was sodomised and murdered by his employer Mr Mohammed Ikram and a cohort, in July 2019, for daring to seek full payment for work he had carried out at a scrapyard (click here).
British Asian Christian Association stepped in to pay for legal costs, and support the family financially as they challenged for justice. Despite clear evidence of a crime courts offered pre-arrest bail to the murderers who began to threaten the Christian family and key witnesses (click here).
Though Badil’s mother Shareefa remained stoic throughout the court process. The witnesses were nobbled by the murderers and their cohorts. The witnesses refused to testify and threatened to alter their statement if Shareefa continued to pursue justice. It is not known whether they succumbed to bribes, threats or both (click here).
In tandem with the ignominy of losing witnesses Shareefa suffered intensified threats of the murder of her remaining son. Unbeknown to British Asian Christian Association or our solicitor, Shareefa met in private with the opponent solicitor and agreed compensation terms for the murder of her son (click here).
Shareefa Bibi (32 yrs at the time) was earning 3500 Pak-rupees every month working as a housemaid and was finding it difficult to meet the needs of her family.
