Gang rape of 16-Year-Old Christian Girl En Route to Sunday Service.Dear all, We've been inundated with stories of persecution and are currently struggling to keep up. Pakistan appears to be going through one of the most violent periods that Christians have faced since the inception of our group. This month, we are sharing accounts of rape (click here) and (click
here), blasphemy allegations (click here) and (here), violent persecution (click here), shootings (click here) murder (click here) and more. We are deeply concerned about
the prevailing culture in Pakistan that fosters such incidents, and we find it disheartening that authorities respond with a lackadaisical attitude. Even worse, the police and other authorities have attempted to cover up the current state of affairs by implicating a Pastor in allegations that he shot himself (click here). The Pastor has since been released on bail (click here). We apologize for a delayed update on our efforts related to the 2023
floods in Pakistan. Over a three week period after the floods, we conducted weekly food drops and provided mosquito nets to affected villagers in Sindh. With your support, we aim to install a clean water pump and toilet facility to enhance health conditions and restore dignity for these Christian villagers. Read more (here) and (here). The delays to this newsletter were caused by the organization of our collaborative London protest (click here). Concurrently, we remain committed to supporting internally displaced Christians in Manipur, India, and Jaranwala, Pakistan. We list all the accounts including the one in the title of your email at the end of this message. Next week, we'll be sending an update on our progress in India and
Ukraine as we work through our backlog of reports. As a collective, we deeply lament the loss of over 1000 lives in Israel and the abduction of an additional 100 individuals by the Islamist terror group, HAMAS. We are equally concerned about the repercussions of Israeli retaliation, recognizing the plight of innocents caught in the brutality of war. Currently, we are in the process of drafting a comprehensive article on this distressing matter, seeking perspectives from our
Jewish friends, Muslim friends, and others. In the meantime, we humbly ask our supporters to join us in praying for peace in the region—perhaps a peace akin to that promised in Isaiah 2:4, within God's perfect Kingdom, whenever that time arrives. "They shall beat their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall
they learn war any more." We are still in search of volunteers who are willing to assist us in writing reports. Additionally, if you reside near Ilford, we are looking for volunteers to contribute to our Meals for the Needy Project, which serves an ever increasing number of visitors every week (click here) This project will soon receive recognition through a significant award; however, we are not yet able to disclose the details. Blessings to you all. Hannah Chowdhry If you are a regular reader and want to support our work, you can find a

Battling the Aftermath of Monsoon: BACA’s Swift Response to Aid Flood-Stricken Christian Communities in SindhSample Article Headline
The monsoon season in July wreaked havoc in the Sindh region this year, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. While the intensity was less severe than the previous year, the rainfall from July 19th to 24th caused significant damage to crops, houses, and livestock. Mud houses crumbled, acres of crops were destroyed, and families found themselves displaced, seeking shelter under makeshift
tents. In the aftermath of the flood-like rains, stagnant water became breeding grounds for mosquitoes, unleashing a wave of waterborne diseases. The vulnerable population, particularly children and the elderly, suffered from ailments like diarrhea and abdominal sickness. Malaria and dengue began to spread unchecked, adding to the misery of those already grappling with the aftermath of the monsoon.

Triumph of Justice: Pastor Vicky Released After Legal Battle
In a dramatic turn of events, Pastor Vicky, who faced allegations under FIR 2608/23 and FIR 1321/23, has been released from District Jail Faisalabad after a persistent legal battle led by advocate Mr. Akmal Bhatti. After three days of physical remand, the police, in a controversial move, took Pastor Vicky to an undisclosed location, denying his family the right to meet him. The family’s
concerns about police misconduct were echoed by Irum Bibi, Pastor Vicky’s aunt, who detailed the police’s refusal to allow his wife and son to visit him in his cell. Despite the irregularities, on September 28th, the judge sent Pastor Vicky to jail on judicial remand, a move deemed irregular by advocate Mr. Akmal Bhatti, citing sections 60 and 61 of the Code of Civil Procedure (CCP). These sections mandate the accused’s court appearance before deciding on remand, ensuring a
fair hearing for both parties.

Addressing the Soaring Homelessness Crisis in London: BACA’s Call for Urgent Action
The Greater London Authority (GLA) declared a staggering increase of over 1700 rough sleepers in 2023 compared to the same period last year, highlighting the severe toll of the cost of living crisis on Londoners (click here). This alarming situation is
exacerbated by a shortage of affordable housing and the reduction of COVID-19-related funding for emergency housing provision. PLEASE SIGN OUR PETITION (CLICK HERE) In response to this pressing issue, His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales, launched a groundbreaking homeless project
in June. The initiative aims to eradicate rough sleeping by providing homeless individuals with permanent housing rather than temporary accommodations. Six projects, inspired by a successful model in Finland, will be implemented across the UK, with the first launching in Belfast.
