Urgent Appeal for Support for Persecuted Christians in Manipur
We are reaching out to you with an urgent plea for support for our
brothers and sisters facing persecution in Manipur, India. In recent times, the Christian community in Manipur has endured relentless hardships, discrimination, and violence simply for their faith.
The situation is dire. Families are being torn apart, churches vandalized, and individuals threatened for practicing their religion peacefully. Despite the challenges, these resilient souls continue to hold onto their faith, but they urgently need our solidarity and assistance.
This week marked the anniversary of the beginning of the brutal attacks by Meitei tribes on the Christian Kuki-Zo tribe. A prayer event was held in London, and it was followed by the first protest organized by London-based North East Indian Christians, which was joined by BACA and many other organizations.

As fellow believers, it is our moral duty to stand by them in their time of need. We cannot turn a blind eye to the suffering of our brethren. Together, we can make a difference.
Your support can provide essential aid such as shelter, food, medical care, and legal assistance to those affected. Additionally, your advocacy can raise awareness and bring international attention to the
plight of persecuted Christians in Manipur. Close to 70,000 Christians have been displaced due to the savagery of the attacks they have endured. The brutality they face is evident in the harrowing images and videos that Rev. Chongloi has shared with us (here). Your support can make a difference in helping them survive this difficult time. Please consider donating today (here).
I won't provide a brief on our other appeals in this introduction, but they are all listed below in date order as usual. I want to draw attention to the alarming increase in the number of Christian girls being kidnapped and raped. We
urgently need your support to establish safe houses and provide legal assistance for as many of these girls as possible.
“Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.” (Psalm 82:3 NIV)
Blessings to you all.
