Dear Friends,
“Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” – Psalm 82:4
We write to you today with heavy hearts.
Last month, we shared the devastating story of Nasreen Masih, who lost loved ones from three generations of her family when the roof of their home collapsed
during the violent monsoon rains in Raiwind. The force of the collapse was so sudden and severe that the local community gathered in the hundreds to mourn their loss.
We reached out in faith, and while your generosity has brought in around £1,500, we are still falling short of the £3,000 needed to repair the damaged roof, rebuild the unsafe structure, and provide temporary shelter for the
surviving family members who are still living in a dangerously unstable home.
They have lost so much already. We cannot let them face the coming weeks in fear, under a roof that could fall again at any moment.
And now, another urgent need has arisen.
Nabeel Masih, the young Christian man who was falsely accused of blasphemy at the age of 16 and spent five long years in prison without conviction, is now
fighting for his life in a Lahore hospital. Nabeel has been diagnosed with Hepatitis E and is currently admitted to the Intensive Care Unit, suffering from severe vomiting, abdominal pain, and extreme weakness. His condition is deteriorating, and we are doing everything in our power to save him.
His care is costing £50 per day, with a projected bill of £2,000, and BACA has committed to
covering these expenses to ensure he gets the treatment he desperately needs. Read more (here).
We are deeply grateful for the love and
support you have shown. But today, we urgently need your help again.
Would you prayerfully consider making a gift today to:
Rebuild and make safe Nasreen Masih’s home
Provide shelter and stability for her grieving family
Help cover the cost of life-saving treatment for Nabeel Masih
Your support reminds these families that they are not forgotten—that even in their darkest
hours, the global Church stands with them.
“Please save my son. I beg you,” pleaded Amanat Masih, Nabeel’s father.
“He has already suffered so much. I can’t lose him now.”
Let us respond with compassion. Let us give what we can—no matter the amount—knowing that together, we can bring healing, safety, and hope to those who need it most.

Together, let’s continue to speak up, lift up, and show up—just as Scripture calls us to do.
Some urgent appeals from last month remain unfulfilled due to a shortage
of donations, which may be linked to recent email delays and an increase in requests. We are sharing our last newsletter again (here) to
invite you to review and consider supporting these outstanding needs. We currently need to raise approximately £10,000 to ensure every beneficiary receives the critical help they require. Your ongoing kindness and support are deeply appreciated as we strive to meet the needs of those we serve.
