Proverbs 31:8-9 – “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.”
Dear Friends and Supporters,
We are resending the list of appeals shared on Monday 3rd November, as so far we have
raised only £1,834.50 for all our vital causes. Right now, our most urgent priority is to raise at least £2,300 to cover the legal fees of Saif Ul Malook, the solicitor we hope will represent Basharat Masih, a blasphemy victim who has been left without legal protection after his Christian lawyer withdrew due to severe threats. Without urgent support, Basharat faces the very real risk of being left defenseless
against a dangerous and unjust system.
Time is critical — we must raise these funds today if at all possible to ensure he receives the legal defence he desperately needs. We earnestly appeal for your help: give whatever you can and share this newsletter widely with anyone willing to stand with us. Every donation, and every share, brings Basharat closer to safety and justice. Please also consider supporting our other
ongoing appeals, which provide life-changing help to vulnerable victims of persecution.
Fighting for Freedom: Basharat Masih
On 26th June 2024, 22-year-old Basharat Masih, a Christian waiter from Faisalabad, was arrested under Pakistan’s blasphemy laws while travelling to a new job in Naran. Over a year later, Basharat remains in Adiala Jail, accused of a crime he denies, with his family unable to afford legal representation. As court hearings
continue, the judge has now demanded a defence lawyer — leaving his loved ones desperate for support. BACA is urgently raising funds to provide Basharat with legal defence and fight for his freedom.
Justice and Hope for Orphans: Yousaf Masih’s Daughters
Following the brutal murder of Christian painter Yousaf Masih in Sialkot, his three young daughters were left orphaned and destitute. During a recent visit to Christian Colony, Sialkot, BACA offered comfort,
prayers, and immediate financial assistance. Eldest daughter Khushbu (17) dreams of becoming a beautician to support her sisters, and BACA has pledged to fund her training. We also plan to hire a lawyer to pursue justice for Yousaf, ensuring his daughters are not forgotten.
Restoring Dignity: Clean Water Mission in Sindh
In Jarawater, Sindh, Christian and Hindu families struggle daily without access to clean drinking water or sanitation. Women are forced to
walk long distances to collect contaminated canal water, risking their health and dignity. Responding to their urgent plea, BACA plans to install a water pump and build a community washroom — a vital step in restoring safety, health, and dignity for the whole village. Your support can transform this vision into reality.
Each of these stories reflects suffering, courage, and resilience — and the power of your prayers and generosity to bring justice, protection, and hope.
Together, we can ensure that those crushed in spirit are not left to suffer alone.

Each story reflects the suffering, resilience, and unyielding faith of
those we serve — whether in Pakistan or here in the UK.
Through your continued support, BACA stands in the gap, offering justice, compassion, and hope where despair once reigned.
Please consider helping us reach our ongoing £2,000 flood relief target and support BACA’s vital emergency, legal, and humanitarian work. Your generosity ensures we can continue defending the vulnerable, providing urgent aid, and restoring
hope to those in desperate need.
We will share updates on this work later this month, so you can see the difference your support is making.

Together, We Can Bring
Hope
Every story we’ve shared reflects both immense need and the power of faithful action. With your partnership, homes are being rebuilt, children are receiving care, and the oppressed are finding hope in Christ’s love.
We cannot do this without you. Please continue to stand with us in prayer and support.
